You cannot talk your way out of a nervous system reaction.

Traditional therapy focuses on the "Top-Down" (The Mind). But trauma and stress live in the "Bottom-Up" (The Body). If your body feels unsafe, your mind will always find a reason to be anxious.

  • The Lumina Way: We use Somatic tracking to find where the "Freeze" response is stuck in your physiology and release it through titration.

  • The Bio-Mechanical Breakdown: Trauma is a "bottom-up" phenomenon. It begins as a physiological sensation in the viscera (gut/heart) before it ever reaches the verbal centers of the brain. You cannot "talk" a racing heart into slowing down.

  • The Integration Protocol: Learn to "Somatic Track." When you feel a difficult emotion, find its physical location—is it a tightness in the chest or a knot in the stomach? Describe the physical texture, not the reason why it's there.

The body stores what the mind tries to forget. Somatic healing focuses on the nervous system's physical state rather than just the psychological narrative.
